June Non-Credit Center for LifeLong Learning Classes Now Open for Registration

Non-credit classes for adults 50 and older through Lorain County Community College’s Center for LifeLong Learning are now available for the month of June.

“We have classes with interesting and fun topics to start our schedule of summer programs,” said Jennifer Krupa, program director for the Center for LifeLong Learning. “They are all at reasonable prices.”

All classes will be offered online unless otherwise noted and additional classes for July and August are being scheduled.

The June courses are:

  • What Happened to the Russian Imperial Jewels & Romanov Faberge Eggs?Tuesday, June 2, 10-11 a.m. – Fee is $6
  • Balance, Flexibility and Mobility with Paul & MaryFriday, June 5, 10-11:30 a.m. – Fee is $7
  • Stress and the Immune SystemWednesday, June 10, 10-11:30 a.m. – Fee is $6
  • A Revolution in the Works: The Proto-Renaissance in ItalyThursday, June 11, 2-3 p.m. – Fee is $6
  • The Hand of Genius: The Drawings of MichelangeloThursday, June 18, 2-3 p.m. – Fee is $6
  • Queen Elizabeth I, The Spymaster and the first “007”Tuesday, June 23, 10-11 a.m. – Fee is $6
  • Retirement Planning Today® – Online for Your Convenience!Tuesday, June 23 and June 30, 6-8 p.m. – Fee is $49
  • Gandhi’s Revolution: Truth in a Good CauseWednesday, June 24, 10-11 a.m. – Fee is $6
  • Beginning Golf SkillsJune 8 to Aug. 8 (online recorded classes) – $25

Starting this summer registering for non-credit Center for LifeLong Learning classes is easier than ever before with a simple to use online registration and payment form.  For more information on each class or to register visit www.lorainccc.edu/noncredit and then click on the blue “Explore our non-credit courses and offerings” button to look through the class list.

Registering for all LCCC non-credit course requires an email address. “If you do not have an email address, we can help you set up a free email account,” Krupa noted.
