This season the North Ridgeville High School boys soccer team partnered with North Ridgeville Community Care to “Stuff the Shelves.” Every home game there were volunteers to man the donation table collecting items, as well as selling baked goods, with all profits going directly to NRCC. Each time someone donated an item they were entered in a drawing for a chance to win a 65” 4K Smart TV donated by Fuses Unlimited.
At the last regular-season home game Saturday, October 12, the winner of the TV was selected at halftime of the JV game. Daphne Yost from NRCC was there for the drawing and the presentation of the TV.
This season the boys soccer team collected 28 bags of clothing, 105 school supply items, 197 nonperishable food items, and $364 for NRCC.
The winner of the TV is Robin Grau – her son Matthew plays for the soccer team.
