Thank You North Ridgeville

There are not enough words to describe how thankful we are for the generous residents of North Ridgeville. We are on month 9, I think, of COVID-19 and have managed to not only stay open but serve our clients better than ever before. All of our programs are still happening and that is attributed only to all of our generous donors.

As we complete Thanksgiving Distribution and prepare for Christmas, again we need your help. Please consider dropping off some of our most needed items such as a ham, a turkey, toilet paper, and paper towels. We also could use new coats, hats, gloves, and scarves for men, women, and children. How about adopting a family for Christmas? Dropping off a new toy, or a gift card for families to use is a great ways to help as well. Please visit our website for the most up to date information. www.nrcommcare.org

Please also remember we are not accepting any used clothes or used household donations at this time.

We have exciting Soup for the Spirit news. Our signature event will be happening but in a unique way. The event will take place on February 27th VIRTUALLY! In the age of COVID-19, nonprofits have had to come up with unique and engaging ways to keep donors involved. We are in the process of planning now. If you have a business and would like to sponsor and/or donate an item for the silent auction, please let us know.

Giving Tuesday is December 1st this year. Help us reach our goal of $10,000! Go to our website to donate!

Lastly, if you or anyone you know is in need of our services please don’t hesitate to reach out. Many families are experiencing food insecurity for the first time ever. We are here to help. We also don’t want any child in North Ridgeville to go without presents under the tree. Please call if you have any questions on how to receive help during the holiday season.

Thank you for always being a community that cares!
