Olde Towne Hall Theatre Presents The Sound of Music

Live theater returns in a big way to the Olde Towne Hall Theatre in North Ridgeville with the full production of the Rogers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound of Music which won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Regarded as the crown jewel of their extensive and successful collaboration, The Sound of Music was the last musical written by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Many songs from the musical have become standards, including “Edelweiss”, “My Favorite Things”, “Climb Every Mountain”, “Do-Re-Mi”, and the title song “The Sound of Music” which have all been brought to life by a talented cast of local area actors, starring Samantha Ksiezyk-DeCrane and Steve Gerba as Maria and Captain Von Trapp, featuring Carol Broquet Thompson as Mother Abbess, Rose Saxon-Housum as Liesl, Kelly Jindra as Elsa Schraeder, Spencer Riley as Max Detweiler, Noah Underhill as Rolf, and the Von Trapp children, Lincoln Gates, Larissa Freas, Warren Burke, Annabelle Jindra, Kaitlyn Bartholomew, and Gianna Fiscella.

You’re guaranteed to be leave the theater humming one of these wonderful and familiar tunes with a warm feeling of hope experienced by the Von Trapp family as they faced the terror of the coming war.
