NRAC Celebrates National Pi Day

Pi Day was in full swing in the NRAC eighth-grade green studio. Students got to sample different pies (including pizza pies), showcased their Pi Day wardrobe, and Ms. Naro and Mr. Csank got pied in the face due to the impression memorization skills of the Pi digits.

Katherine Tran from the eighth-grade green studio memorized 70 pi digits correctly, resulting in Ms. Naro getting pied in the face! While Jennifer Prokopius, from the eighth-grade green studio memorized 66 pi digits correctly. Her second-place finish resulted in Mr. Csank getting pied in the face!

Sydney Watt from the eighth-grade teal studio recited 99 pi digits. That’s right, 99 digits! Amazing job, Sydney!
