Oceans of Possibilities – June 6 to August 6
This year’s Summer Reading Program will begin June 6 with the theme Oceans of Possibilities.
Lorain Public Library System will again be offering a fun reading challenge for all ages via three different game boards. It is free to participate, but to be eligible for prizes, participants must register in-person, online or by phone.
In addition to some smaller participation prizes, there are some great Grand Prizes including Nintendo Switches with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, LEGO sets, Soda Streams, Air Fryers, giant narwhal and shark stuffed animals and family memberships to the Cleveland Aquarium!
The annual Summer Reading Program began as a fun way to keep children engaged and reading over the summer months while not in school.
“We are so excited to be offering in-person programs again this summer,” says Outreach Director Katies Cooley. “We have fun things planned in conjunction with the Summer Reading Program at every branch.”
