Request for Proposals Stoney Ridge Road-Mills Road-Avalon Drive Roundabout

The City of North Ridgeville is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide construction administration and inspection services for the upcoming Stoney Ridge Road-Mills Road-Avalon Drive Roundabout construction project. The project will also include sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, lighting, landscaping, traffic control and other necessary appurtenances. Responses are due June 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM.

Soccer Complex Name Change

The North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation Department is looking for your feedback to rename the Soccer Complex located on Root Road. We want to hear from you regarding a potential new park name. Visit https://tinyurl.com/soccercomplex2023 to access the google survey to provide your input by June 25, 2023. Thank you in advance for your input. Results of the survey will be posted on June 30, 2023.

Street Repairs and Paving Schedule 2023

After careful review of the master plan report for Pavement Condition Rating (PCR), the City identified the streets to be paved/repaired this year within the allocated budget. The PCR report includes a summary of the condition assessment, recommendations as to the prioritized areas requiring attention, and maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for the entire city network of streets, with the exception of interstate highways.

Asphalt Paving Projects

The City has appropriated $610,000 for asphalt paving in 2023. The Service Department will pave the streets listed below. As each street is scheduled to be milled and/or paved, visit https://www.nridgeville.org/ with updated specific dates which are subject to change depending on weather conditions.

• Clark Drive • Downing Avenue • Elyria Street • Frances Street • Helen Street • Joseph Court • Lear Nagle Road (between Center Ridge Road and Mills Road) • Lee Avenue • Patton Drive • Ronald Drive • Root Road (south of Lorain Road to Reed Road) • Thelma Street

Full Depth Concrete Pavement Replacement Project

The City has appropriated $590,000 for this project. The following concrete streets are on the list to be repaired. The project will go out to bid in June 2023. • Albert Street (various slabs and joints from Drake Street to 5908, 6142 to 6174) • Forest Glen Way at Chestnut Ridge Road • Lorain Road (various locations consisting of catch basin repair, manhole adjustment, and isolated expansion joint repairs) • Oakhurst Drive (various joints and slabs) • Rosebelle Avenue (various slabs and joints from 5844 to Drake Street) • Woodridge Court

If additional funds become available for asphalt paving or full depth concrete, streets may be added to this list.
