NRAC’s Builders Club Helps Those in Need in Lorain County

NRAC’s Builders Club teamed up with Neighborhood Alliance during Kindness week to collect supplies for those in need in Lorain County. They collected items from all grade levels. These items included toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, water bottles, blankets, socks, gloves, and hats. They were able to fill 118 backpacks full of these items and gave them to Neighborhood Alliance to distribute. Builders Club also added in a small note that said “We want you to know, NRAC Builders Club Has Your Back!” There are over 25 Builders Club members, which include students from 3rd grade all the way to 8th grade. A huge thank you to Jordan Andrews for allowing us to collect items during Kindness week, Neighborhood Alliance, and the Carlson family who mentioned the idea to me and donated the backpacks.
