Ranger Marching Band Joins OSU Skull Session
Huge congratulations to the Ranger Marching Band! On Saturday, they traveled to Columbus to take part in the iconic OSU Skull Session, where they had the incredible opportunity to perform and help kick off a fantastic day of Buckeye football!
In the first photo, you’ll spot 2024 NRHS graduate MiVan Pham, now proudly performing with OSU, alongside Dr. Christopher Hoch, OSU’s Director of Bands.

Greater Cleveland Choral Collective
On Monday, December 1, members of the NRHS choirs joined students from several local school districts to perform in the Greater Cleveland Choral Collective!
This inspiring concert brought voices together not only for music, but for a mission, raising awareness and funds for local food banks. Admission was as simple as donating canned goods or a monetary contribution, all of which will directly support families in need.
What an incredible way for our students to use their talents to give back to the community!
Athletic Hall of Fame
Last month, we honored the individuals who have helped shape our athletic program into what it is today. Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognizing the achievements of the newest inductees into our Athletic Hall of Fame! Inductees include Dave Valega (Class of 1982) for swimming, John McGraw (Class of 2007) for football, Isabella Geraci (Class of 2018) for basketball and track, Sarah Kegg (Class of 2018) for gymnastics, Walter Laveen (football coach), Ed Haller (wrestling and football coach) and the 1978 football team.

Our incredible November Students and Staff Members of the Month were recognized for their hard work, leadership, and dedication. We also celebrated several staff members who received North Ridgeville Endowment Funds Committee grants to support innovative projects and programs.

Cole Miller Selected Matt Wilhelm Award Winner
Senior and varsity quarterback Cole Miller has been selected as the Matt Wilhelm Award winner, honoring The Morning Journal’s Football Player of the Year! The award is named after local legend Matt Wilhelm, an Elyria Catholic alum, Ohio State standout, NFL linebacker, and Super Bowl champion.
This recognition is incredibly well-deserved, as Cole played a pivotal role in the best football season in our school’s history. His leadership, talent, and hard work set a new standard for our program.
Cole was surprised with the award during a team meeting yesterday, making the moment even more special. Congratulations, Cole! We’re proud of you!
Effective Leadership Academy
A huge success! Our middle schoolers explored careers, practiced leadership skills, and connected with local professionals all thanks to the Effective Leadership Academy last month. Way to go, Rangers!
“Donut Reading”
Students from the 5th grade Yellow Studio organized a special “Donut Reading” activity for the students in the Able classroom! Together, they read If You Give a Dog a Donut and then had fun creating their very own donuts.
