Mayor Kevin Corcoran reports that the roundabout project for Alt. 83 and Chestnut Ridge  (where Rt. 10 exits into Chestnut) has won approval and should start this spring. Local hospitals are working in collaboration with Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) to distribute COVID-19 vaccinations efficiently and effectively. Lorain County Commissioners Hung, Moore & Lundy have approved the creation of the COVID Emergency Rental Assistance Fund. On Saturday, Jan. 23, Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) vaccinated 1,915 people ages 80+ against COVID-19. LCPH vaccinated at one walk-in and two drive-thru locations throughout Lorain County.
