A letter from North Ridgeville was released on Monday, August 3 regarding finalized students groupings and school hours for the 2020-2021 schools year.
We first want to thank you for your patience as the district continues to finalize the Ranger Restart plan. Below you will find information on student groupings for those who will be attending school in person. Start and end times to the student day have also been established for the 2020-2021 school year, which are also listed in this communication. For families who have selected the online-only option, an email was sent earlier today confirming enrollment.
Similar to previous years, the district will be offering before and after care for families. This will only be available on days that the student is attending school in person.
Student Groupings
As communicated during the Ranger Restart presentation on July 21, the district has worked to create two student groups for those who will be attending the hybrid learning option. There were several considerations that went into the creation of these groups, including the ability to safely follow the return to school guidance provided by the State of Ohio, equality of group sizes, and the district’s transportation schedule.
As a reminder, Group A students will be attending school in person on Monday and Tuesday, and will be online Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Group B students will be online Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and will be attending school in person on Thursday and Friday. Ranger High-Tech Academy students in grades 2-8 will be included in Group A. Ranger High-Tech Academy high school students will follow the high school schedule.

If families would like to request a change of group assignment, please submit a request by filling out the form here. We ask families to please understand that submission of a request does not guarantee a change, and requests will be considered on a first come, first served basis. Additionally, due to logistical impracticalities, school transportation services will not be available to families who are granted group changes.

August 26: High school students report in-person and full-time online instruction begins; August 27: Monday/Tuesday (Group A) students report in-person; August 28: Thursday/Friday (Group B) students report in-person; August 31: All groups begin regular schedule.
