Lorain County Commissioners Approve Creation of Covid Emergency Rental Fund

Lorain County Commissioners Hung, Moore & Lundy have approved the creation of the COVID Emergency Rental Assistance Fund.

Lorain County has received $9,248,858.50 to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program will be administered through Lorain County Job and Family Services. Director Tim Carrion will give a presentation at our next Board of Commissioners meeting scheduled for February 3rd, at 9:30AM. Director Carrion will explain the application process and share the details with public about the program.
