Corn Festival Rewind

These were the twelve girls vying for the title of Corn Festival Queen in 1987. The winner was Patti Yanik.

The North Ridgeville Historical Society float at the Corn Festival parade in 1999. Do you have any parade memories to share?

Everyone around town is getting ready for CORN season and the upcoming Corn Festival. The North Ridgeville Historical Society will feature a special Corn Festival display at this month’s open house on July 25th. Although the Corn Festival always brings to mind Harold Sweet and the Sweet’s Corn, there were a LOT of other farmers who provided residents with their fill of local corn through the years. One of these is shown here. Which roadside stand do you remember from the past?
