North Ridgeville Schools Ranger Round-Up

The Amazing Shake event on March 24 was a success! Every seventh-grade student at NRAC moved through 12 stations and was assessed on various life skills such as shaking hands, giving eye contact when speaking, interviewing, and the ability to make small talk. We appreciate the community members, business leaders, and staff who participated!

Congratulations to Assistant Athletic Director Shayna Hersh who received the NEOIAAA Tim Flannery Horizon award! The award is presented to an association member who, in their first 2-3 years of service in interscholastic athletics, has demonstrated clear signs of professionalism and involvement at their school, local, and state levels.

In Ms. Marino’s eighth-grade science class, students created Punnett squares to determine the probability of offspring having a specific gene!

On March 16 the Academic Recognition Committee celebrated our seniors that have accumulated a GPA of 3.5 or above for at least one academic school year. We are proud of our students and their success! #RangerSTRONG

NRHS and Snoop Dodgy Dodge are your 2022 NRCS Dodgeball Tournament champions!

The North Ridgeville City Schools 2022 Dodgeball Tournament was held on March 11 at the Academic Center. The tournament put teams of teachers and staff again each other in a six team double elimination bracket. Snoop Dodgy Dodge, representing North Ridgeville High School, defended their title. The enthusiastic crowd cheered the competitors on while raising money for scholarships, assemblies and more activities for students. The winning team also got themselves a party at the 83 & Chestnut Pub & Eatery. The Purple People Eaters representing the Academic Center grades three through six earned the “best fans” trophy.
