North Ridgeville Review The Community That Cares

The North Ridgeville Ridge Kids 4H club does many community service activities. The most recent one was a park cleanup on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at South Central Park in North Ridgeville. They did the cleanup for the “Keep Lorain County Beautiful Day.” There were 24 kids there to help with the cleanup: 12 girls and 12 boys. They pulled out all the weeds as well as mulched the garden around the gazebo, and when they were done, it looked superb!
North Ridgeville’s Parks and Recreation Director, Kevin Fougerousse, had this to say, “On behalf of the North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation Department I want to say THANK YOU for volunteering your time and energy for Keep Lorain County Beautiful Day. We had a good turnout, and the rain decided to stay out of the area until later that evening….Without your assistance and commitment, this fantastic event wouldn’t have happened.”

The North Ridgeville Ridge Kids range in age from 5 to 16 and live in North Ridgeville, Elyria, Grafton, Columbia Station, Avon Lake and surrounding communities.
