Blessing House Executive Director Sr. Mary Berigan, SND and Director of Development Donna Humphrey, visited Lorain County Commissioners recently to show off the new van purchased in a joint venture between the Lorain County Commissioners and the Community West Foundation in Westlake.
Blessing House, a 24-hour children’s crisis center based in Elyria, that provides housing, services and also transportation to children up to 12 years of age.
Blessing House moved into a new building last year, doubling its capacity from 10 to 20. That means potentially 10 more children to take to the doctor or dentist, counseling appointments or on field trips.
