North Ridgeville’s ‘Griswold House’ Lights the Night

Are you kidding me, Clark? Nope, Bob Mangan’s house on Cambridge Drive is once again lighting the night!

Bob Mangan greets guests to his Winter Wonderland

Bob is a life-long North Ridgeville resident with something of a hobby when it comes to holiday lights. This act of love is a gift to the community and anyone else who wants to stop by for a close up and personal look at his creation. In fact, you will more than likely meet Bob in the driveway as he personally greets guests and visitors.

How many lights are there? Bob himself isn’t sure anymore. Bob invites the curious to count them if they dare!

Work starts in September and continues through October as he gets ready to flip the switch when November rolls around.

The display is about much more than lights. He has multiple inflatables, giant toy soldiers, bears, Santa in a helicopter and even a giant Santa image peering out from an upstairs window to check on guests.

Once in the backyard, visitors will notice a large, barn-like structure. What’s it for? Storing the decorations when Christmas is over.

If you want to see a really special Christmas display this year, stop by Bob Mangan’s place on Cambridge Drive. Just follow the lights!
