North Ridgeville Review The Community That Cares
North Ridgeville Historical Society is pleased to announce a grand rededication ceremony is being planned for the military stones recently reinstalled in front of the Old Town Hall. Moved for safekeeping prior to the Center Ridge road construction, these monuments have again taken their place of honor! “We invite you to join us on this special day!”
The ceremony will be Sunday, May 28 at 1 p.m. and will feature the North Ridgeville VFW Post #9871 Honor Guard. They will reveal the addition of the name of fallen soldier Pvt. Howard Petersen to the WWII stone, and many families of the men memorialized there will be in attendance as well.
Following the ceremony the Museum at the Old Town Hall will be open until 5 p.m. and special displays are being planned.
