North Ridgeville Trash Clean Up

City Council Candidate Genevieve Flieger Joins Volunteers for Lorain County Beautiful Day

Residents of North Ridgeville are invited to participate in Lorain County Beautiful day 2023. This is a county-wide event that brings together volunteers for a day of litter cleanup, planting and beautification projects. The Ward 4 Trash Clean up will run from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM starting at the LCCC parking lot at 32121 Lorain Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.

Genevieve Flieger, candidate for North Ridgeville Ward 4 Council is organizing friends and neighbors to pick up litter behind the restaurants and campus. The garbage that collects in those areas is a hazard to the environment and an eyesore for the community. There is no cost to attend.

“I wanted to do something different with my campaign. I believe a real, tangible way to feel like you’ve done good in the community is more effective than politics as usual. Taking pride in and investing in your hometown is something that Independents, Democrats and Republicans can all agree on,” says Genevieve Flieger. “North Ridgeville is a great place to live, and each time we come together like this we make it better,” Michele Esper, Chair, North Ridgeville Democratic Party.

County officials and the City Parks and Rec department are joining forces to provide all the cleaning supplies, and the event organizers will have donuts and drinks for volunteers.
