North Ridgeville Heart & Sole Indoor Walking

North Ridgeville Heart & Sole collaborative is expanding the indoor walking program to four days a week this fall and winter. Residents are invited to keep active and walk indoors at the LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus (UPRC) and at Liberty Elementary School. Enter the building’s main doors and sign in at the indoor walking table.

LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road – Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m. (October 2 through March 27)

Liberty Elementary School, 5700 Jaycox Road – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8 p.m. (Oct. 3 through May 23). No walking Oct. 26 or Nov. 2

No cost to participate. All ages and abilities are welcome to attend. If the school or building is closed due to holiday closure or weather, indoor walking is cancelled. For more information, visit nrheartandsole.com.

Tots Trick or Treat

BOO!!! Bring out your little witch’s and goblins to City Hall on Fri., Oct. 27, 1 pm to march in a parade and receive some ghoulish treats. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER TO ATTEND. YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED.

10th Annual Stache Dash

Join us for Northeast Ohio’s Premiere Celebration of the Stache-where your upper lip finally gets the attention it deserves. Can you think of a better excuse to stop shaving? All runners/walkers who pre-register receive a hoodie & winter beanie. Race bags will be provided to the first 300 that pre-register for the event. Post-race refreshments will be provided. This is a family-friendly event with all proceeds raised benefitting the North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation Department. Online registration ends on Mon., Oct. 30. We hope to see you and your stache on Sat., Nov. 4.

Christmas Tree Lighting

Everyone is invited to this annual tradition on Sat., Dec. 2, 5 pm at South Central Park. Various girl scout troops will be decorating the tree while the North Ridgeville Choir leads us in joyful holiday songs, while Mayor Kevin Corcoran along with his close, personal friend Santa Claus light the community Christmas Tree.
