For the 5th consecutive year, Great Lakes Honda West presented University Hospitals St. John Medical Center a check in support of the Maltby Breast Health Center. This year’s $8,000 donation increased the dealerships total support to more than $40,000 for breast health care at St. John.

This donation is in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place every October. The dealership and show room were decorated with pink ribbons and balloons for the entire month, and the dealership pledged a contribution to breast health for every vehicle sold.
Attending to accept the donation was UH St. John Medical Center Chief Operating Officer, Brian Monter, Development Officer, Wayne Nieman, and Vice President of Mission, Ministry and Pastoral Care, Ben Walther.
“We’re so thankful for the continued support from Great Lakes Honda,” said Brian Monter. “Their partnership continues to help us give top notch care to the west side in the Maltby Breast Health Center, and to continue the UH Mission, To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.”
Great Lakes Auto Group Owner/CEO Joey Huang was joined by Gavin Lake, Platform Director, Julia Pawlowski, Director of Marketing and Sales, and Kelly Koffman, General Sales Manager, to present St. John Leadership with the donation.

The Maltby Breast Health Center at St. John provides high quality, and compassionate breast cancer care while also focusing on breast health and cancer prevention, research, and clinical trials. It is an integral piece of the west side community, and UH St John Medical centers faith-based mission and provision of excellence in patient care.
