NRCS Announces New Treasurer

At the North Ridgeville Board of Education meeting earlier this month, North Ridgeville City Schools officially appointed Mrs. Wendy Fanta as Treasurer. Fanta joined the district in September 2024 and has made a significant impact through her financial expertise and steady leadership. She has served as Interim Treasurer since April, successfully managing the district’s financial operations during a period of growth and transition.

Before coming to North Ridgeville, Fanta served as Associate Treasurer for North Olmsted City Schools. Her career also includes roles as Assistant Treasurer at both North Olmsted City Schools and Avon Local Schools. With a strong background in school finance and a proven track record of fiscal responsibility, she brings the skills and experience needed to guide the district’s financial future.

“I’m honored to officially step into this role,” said Fanta. “This is an exciting time to be part of North Ridgeville City Schools. With so much growth and the construction of our new high school underway, I’m proud to contribute to shaping a strong foundation for our students, staff, and community.”

Superintendent Roxann Ramsey-Caserio praised the appointment, noting, “Wendy has already demonstrated her value to our district. Her professionalism and commitment to our mission make her the ideal choice to continue leading our financial team. We are fortunate to have her in this important role.”

Mrs. Fanta’s appointment comes at a pivotal time, as the district continues to invest in long-term infrastructure and academic excellence for future generations of Rangers.
