Crossword Fans Rejoice! Lorain Public Library System to Offer New York Times All Access

Beginning Dec. 3, Lorain Public Library System cardholders have free access to New York Times All Access.

“We are currently only providing news,” Director of Technical Services Department Cheryl Paganelli said. “The upgrade to All Access includes news, Games, Cooking, Wirecutter and The Athletic.”

NYT Games is a collection of casual games originating with the newspaper’s crossword puzzle in 1942. NYT Games was officially established on Aug. 21, 2014, with the addition of the Mini Crossword. It currently also includes Wordle, Connections and more.

NYT Cooking is the digital source for thousands of the best recipes from The New York Times along with how-to guides for home cooks at every skill level.

Wirecutter offers new product reviews, deals and buying advice by testing and reviewing tech, appliances, gear and more.

The Athletic boasts unrivaled sports journalism for fans across all major sports leagues and teams.

“We believe this upgraded package is something our patrons will really enjoy,” Paganelli said. “It’s another free resource available in our digital library, accessible from anywhere.”

Lorain Public Library System patrons can access the New York Times by visiting https://www.lorainpubliclibrary.org/elibrary beginning Dec. 3.
