City Launches Planning and Zoning Online Services

Beginning March 2, the city will launch the planning and zoning module of its new online services system, powered by GovWell. Applicants will now be able to submit and track a variety of planning and zoning-related requests online.

• Developers: New subdivisions, commercial and industrial projects
• Businesses: Building additions, exterior alterations, site improvements and new business or change of use applications
• Residents: Home occupation permits and applications for variances to the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals
• Legislative: Zoning text or map amendments and street vacations

Please note: This launch applies to planning and zoning applications only – building permits and inspections are not included at this time and will transition in a future phase. Contact the Building Division at (440) 490-2081 with questions or for guidance on your project.
