Lorain County 4-H Offers PetPALS Program

4-H PetPALS (People and Animals Linking Successfully) is an intergenerational 4-H project preparing youth and their pets to engage with senior adults. Master 4-H PetPALS volunteer, Tammy Zifcak, will be leading a 4-H group for any youth in grades 3 through 12 interested in joining. This program is a part of the OSU Extension program in Lorain County.

PetPALS – For youth in grades 3-12: Tuesdays, June 6-27, 2023, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ag Center (42110 Russia Rd. Elyria, OH)

4-H PetPALS (People and Animals Linking Successfully) is an intergenerational 4-H project preparing youth and their pets to engage with senior adults. This 4-H group will include fun hands-on lessons including:

• Picking the Right Pet
• Understanding Animal Behavior
• Getting Ready for your 1st Visit

All involved will gain a greater appreciation for their pets, and experience compassion and caring for senior citizens.
