Thanks to our families, friends and neighbors for sharing the day with us Sunday, at the Rededication Ceremony for our War Monuments. We truly appreciate everyone who attended, participated, organized, baked cookies, and shared their stories.
For those of you unable to attend, we had a brief ceremony during which we shared the history of each monument, the stories of our war casualties from WWII and Vietnam, and then we celebrated with cookies and friendship. The N.R. Fire Dept. opened the Fire Museum for us, and we were able to share some of our military collection.
Please remember- we will always accept the story of your North Ridgeville veteran. Each story has merit and ensures the service member’s history can be preserved to share with future generations. Contact us for more information at: nrhistorical@yahoo.com.
