At the July 1 Board of Education Meeting, North Ridgeville City Schools proudly announced Ms. Melissa Cirilo as the new Assistant Principal of North Ridgeville High School. She will officially join the district for the 2025–2026 school year, completing the administrative team at NRHS.
Cirilo currently serves as a middle school math and science teacher at Westwood Middle School in Elyria. Her previous roles include a Title I math and reading specialist at Olmsted Falls Middle School. She brings with her a strong instructional background and a deep commitment to student growth and achievement.
Cirilo earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University and went on to complete a Master of Education from Ashland University.
“I’m honored to join the North Ridgeville High School team,” said Cirilo. “This district’s dedication to academic excellence, character development, and the whole child truly aligns with my educational philosophy. I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families as we work together to live out the Ranger STRONG values.”
NRHS Principal Mrs. Meghan Hignite expressed her enthusiasm for the year ahead. “We’re entering an exciting chapter at North Ridgeville High School. With the additions of Mrs. Kelsey Mellino, Dr. Rob Winton, and now Ms. Melissa Cirilo, I’m confident that this new leadership team will bring fresh perspectives and positive momentum to our school community.”
