Able not Label: Live Like Erin
A group of NRHS Intro to Business students partnered with Able not Label to design and sell custom apparel to support the Live Like Erin. This foundation provides care and assistance for breast cancer patients and their families. Together, these amazing Rangers raised over $3,000 for the cause! We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, creativity, and compassion. Way to make a difference, Rangers!

Community Helpers
Our 1st and 2nd graders at Liberty Elementary are learning all about community helpers! To bring the lesson to life, they enjoyed a Touch a Truck event featuring a school bus, construction vehicles, a mail truck, police cruiser, fire truck, and ambulance. Students loved exploring the cars and meeting the heroes who help our community every day!
Touchdown for Learning!
Thanks to Ms. Pappadakes, her class at Liberty is piloting an exciting new program called NFeLementary, where students draft an NFL team, follow their season, and dive into research all season long! Each student even wrote a letter to their chosen team… and two teams wrote back! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sent posters, a headband, eye stickers for the class, and a special letter for Liam! The Jacksonville Jaguars surprised Ellie and her classmates with magnets, keychains, pins, and certificates! What an incredible way to connect classroom learning with real-world excitement!
Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference
Big shout-out to Mrs. Morales, Ms. Fuchs, Mrs. Giering, and Mrs. Ciarrone! These incredible educators traveled to Dayton to present at the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference, sharing not one, but two amazing sessions! 1. “Interactive Games to Transform Math Instruction” 2. “How Learning Intentions and Success Criteria Transformed Our Math Instruction.” Their dedication to innovation and excellence in math education is inspiring! They’re not only implementing new, effective strategies in their own classrooms, they’re also empowering teachers across the state to do the same. Keep leading the way, ladies!
Pumpkin Fun in Mrs. Bycoskie’s Class!
Students explored crafts, science experiments, and games, all while enhance their math and reading skills! A big thank you to our amazing classroom volunteers who helped make this hands-on learning experience such a success!
Browser’s Reading Buddies
New at the North Ridgeville Branch Library! On the first and second Saturday of the month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. kids ages 5–10 can read to a therapy dog for a 20 minute session! It’s a fun way to build confidence and share stories with a furry friend. Upcoming Dates: Nov. 8, Dec. 13, Jan. 3 and 10, and Feb. 7 and 14. Call 440-327-8326 to sign up.
