Cleveland History Center Outing
Thursday, April 23 at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. – We’ll tour the History Center, featuring the Euclid Beach Merry-Go-Round, the car museum and Ohio history and memorabilia, with a guided tour of one area included. Registration begins March 25 at 1 p.m. 13 spots available on the bus, 7 spots available to drive. Cost $20
Chicken Paprikash Dinner
Friday, April 24 at 5 until 7 p.m. – Join us for this community event that raises money for programs at the center. Adults $8, Seniors $7, Children 10 and under $5. Soda and dessert are available for $1 each. Dine-in or carry out is available.
Nature Walk
Monday, April 27 at 1:30 p.m. – Join Stacey for a guided nature walk at Bradley Woods Reservation. We will keep working on our American 250 list together. Spring wildflowers are beautiful additions to our list.
Try It Tuesday
Tuesday, April 28 at 12 p.m. – This program offers a fun way to explore different cultures through food or different food preferences/diets (vegan, dairy-free, low-carb, Mediterranean, etc.) Special guest, John Seely from Chefs for Seniors who will present several Native American dishes. Register by the previous Friday. Cost $3
Super Thursday: Kentucky Derby Party
Thursday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. – Put on your best dresses, suits and zany hats as we prepare for the 152nd running of the best thoroughbreds in the world. We’ll have some interactive games and maybe a little legal horse gambling, along with a festive menu. Register by April 28. Cost $5.
Great Lakes Theatre Outing
Tuesday, May 5, 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. – This iconic detective duo is catapulted into a wild, modern-day adventure. Follow these quirky, codependent roommates turned unconventional crime-fighting team, as they navigate mysteries, mayhem and a little pandemic fog. This fast-paced escapade reimagines the world’s greatest sleuthing partnership with bold new energy. Who’s solving who? Mystery has never been so clever or so much fun! Afterwards, we will find a local spot for some lunch before returning to the senior center. Registration begins March 18 at 1 p.m. 13 spots available on the bus, 7 spots available to drive. Cost $25
