North Ridgeville Review The Community That Cares
As we continue North Ridgeville’s America 250-OH celebration, we’re inviting some of our youngest residents to help tell Ohio’s story through art. Children in grades K-8 are encouraged to submit artwork inspired by one of Ohio’s America 250 themes. Selected pieces may be featured in an upcoming community newsletter, on the city website or on city social media. Please include first name, age and title of artwork and submit by September 23.
October: Food and Farms: Draw, color or paint something that represents food or farming in Ohio. It could be your favorite Ohio-grown food, a farm, a farmers market, a family recipe or anything else that makes you think about Ohio’s agricultural traditions.
November: Ohio Serves: Just in time for Veterans Day and Thanksgiving, November’s theme celebrates the many ways Ohioans serve others. What does helping your community look like? Create something inspired by volunteering, military service, helping a neighbor or simply showing kindness to others.
December: Looking to the Future: Throughout 2026, we’ve celebrated 250 years of American history. To close out the year, we’re asking young artists to look ahead. Draw, color or paint what you imagine North Ridgeville or Ohio might look like in the future. What will our community look like? How will people live, work, travel or have fun? Let your imagination lead the way!
