North Ridgeville Review The Community That Cares
The City of North Ridgeville has launched an update to its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, a community-driven effort to chart the future of the city’s parks, green spaces, recreational facilities and programs for the next 10 to 15 years. Working with planning consultant McKenna, the city will build on its 2013 Master Plan by identifying fresh priorities and practical strategies grounded in resident input and a thorough analysis of how the community has grown and changed.
“We’re not just updating a plan, we’re asking the whole community to dream a little. Show up, speak up and let’s build something great together,” said Kevin Fougerousse, Parks and Recreation Director.
Residents can get involved right now at northridgevilleparksplan.com by dropping a pin on an interactive map, completing a short survey or leaving a comment. The site will serve as a running hub for project updates, draft materials and public input summaries throughout the process.
The McKenna team will also be out in the community at several popular local events, with activities designed to make engagement fun and accessible for all ages:
