North Ridgeville Review The Community That Cares
As Christmas 2020 comes to a close we wanted to give everyone an update on the incredible effort led by Ptlm. Trampush and Ptlm. Cross with this years Cops and Kids event.
Like everything else this year, things were different. This year the shopping was done by our officers and the gifts were given out in a drive up event.
Because of your generosity, we raised over $12,000 dollars and were able to help 23 kids from North Ridgeville.
A special thanks to our own Somer Oliva who sprang into action when she heard that one of the kids didn’t have a bed to sleep in. She contacted Kiwanis – North Ridgeville who in turn contacted Good Knights of Lorain County, who’s mission it is to make sure no child sleeps without a bed. They spoke to mom and found out that she was actually in need of three beds and Good Knights stepped in without a second thought and, along with the Kiwanis, built her three beds. Absolutely fantastic work. Give their page a look and follow them to see the great work they do for Lorain County.
