“Happy Anniversary to us! We are proud to have such an amazing group to call our members! Here’s to another year of lasting friendships!”
Those were the words of Marjorie Snyder, head of the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau as she welcomed guests to the Chamber’s 45th anniversary party at the 8820 the evening of Thursday, June 17.
120 guests arrived in Hawaiian garb to take part in the Luau theme and enjoy drinks and other delights including delectable from the Bearden’s Food Truck and Mrs. Scott’s Sweets.
Guests received a colorful lei as they entered the pavilion from a little girl named Chloe (Georgia Awig’s granddaughter) to set the stage for a fun evening of friendship and conversation. It was a great night to lose the masks and celebrate the end of the pandemic!
A highlight of the night was the induction of the new class of Chamber trustees, sworn in by Mayor Kevin Corcoran.
Greetings were also offered by Robyn Ringwall, Board Member. Bud Hagy of Bistro 83 and Jason Jacobs of O’Neill Healthcare and Board Member.
Then, it was on with the fun on a perfect evening in June. Thanks to Mike Babbit of 8820 for his excellent venue!
