Bilingual Digital Learning Class: Free Digital Skills Training for Employment and Beyond: Wednesdays, March 15, 22, 29; 10 a.m.; South Lorain Branch – Goodwill, the city of Lorain, and Lorain County Community College are partnering to provide residents with a digital literacy platform designed to demonstrate 15 areas of basic digital literacy including computer skills, Microsoft Office skills, and using technology in daily life. Stop Worrying Using Guatemalan Figures: Saturday, March 18; 2 p.m.; South Lorain Branch – Using visual art, create a trustworthy listener that Guatemalans use to stop worrying! In Guatemalan folklore, a princess received a gift from the sun of a figurine that helped her alleviate her worries, thus was born the Worry Figure. Tell the figure your troubles and place it under your pillow at night. Let it deal with your worries and awake refreshed the next day.
