NRHS Spring Musical: Little Shop of Horrors

The North Ridgeville High School will be performing Little Shop of Horrors on April 21 & 22 at 7PM and April 23 at 2PM in the Early Childhood Learning Community located at 5490 Mills Creek Lane.

The Drama Club produces two shows a year, a non-musical play in the fall and a fully staged musical production in the spring.

The Little Shop of Horrors has a long history and was originally produced as a B movie in 1960 and featured a young Jack Nicholson in a small role. The film was the basis for an Off-Broadway musical which in turn was adapted into a 1986 feature film and the musical enjoyed a 2003 Broadway debut.

The NRHS Drama Club’s production features a talented chorus of actors dancing and singing their way through Skid Row in this dark comedy. They are led by Max Saxon-Housum as Seymour, Taryn Ebright as Audrey, Levi Bailey and Mushnik, David Starkey as Orin, Rose Saxon-Housum as Ronette, Bri Koenig as Chiffon, Kami Santana as Crystal and Mary Grace Hedberg as the voice of the man-eating plant, Audrey II.

The NRHS productions are fully funded by ticket sales, donations, and the kindness of strangers. Tickets may be purchased online at: or at the door. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.
