Valerie Groff is a Teacher of the Month for the Ohio Lottery’s Partners in Education program. She is a kindergarten teacher at ECLC North Ridgeville Early Childhood Learning Center located in Lorain County. The Partners in Education program honors teachers and students that are working hard throughout the state.
“Once in a while, you encounter someone so outstanding their excellence must be recognized. Mrs. Groff has made my son’s kindergarten year extra special in many ways. Aside from the nice things he tells me about her, I’ve had the pleasure to be present in the classroom for parties and Star Student Day. I was so impressed at how she handled challenging unexpected situations so quickly and with such ease,” says parent Megan Carr.
For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Groff will receive an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery along with a gift card.
The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and to submit a nomination, go to https://ohiolottery.com/SupportingEducation. We are now accepting submissions online!
