23rd Annual SKUNKFEST 2024

Did you know North Ridgeville is the skunk capital of the world? Well, not really. But one day of the year it is!

Bring your family to the most exciting event of the year!

PUBLIC is welcome to attend the 23rd Annual SKUNKFEST 2024 Rain or Shine on Saturday, September 14th from 10 am – 4 pm at South Central Park, 7565 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville.

This event is a friendly gathering for skunk lovers & skunk owners from everywhere to share some fun and discussions about skunks. All Skunks are welcome although you do not need to be a skunk owner to attend! There will be other rescue groups with their animals set up as well!

There will be games, raffles, vendors, speakers, other animals and food. Dress up your skunk for the costume contest, fun skunk contests with awards. If you want to see something different you can come see the colors of skunks such as apricot, lavender, brown’s and more! You can even have your picture taken with a skunk!

Entrance for people into the SkunkFest is paper towels, blankets, natural grain cereal, no grain dog food or anything that can benefit the shelter. Of course cash donations are always welcome! At least 1 item per person, please!

REGISTRATION for Skunks for ALL contests BEGINS AT 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. only. The judges will begin the judging for the official Skunkfest King and Queen and Prince and Princess from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Fun contests will be in the Afternoon; costume contest for the skunks, most talented, the skunk run and best detective.

The entry fee for the skunks for the contests is $10 for 1 skunk, $5 for each additional skunk.
