City of North Ridgeville Recognizes Rudolph Libbe Group Donation of Mills Industrial Parkway Entrance Sign

The City of North Ridgeville is recognizing a significant public-private partnership with the installation of a new entrance sign at Mills Industrial Parkway. Donated by Rudolph Libbe Group, the sign replaces an older wooden sign and enhances the visibility of one of the city’s key industrial parks.

“This project is a great example of what can happen when the city and local business leaders work together. Rudolph Libbe Group stepped forward with an idea that aligned with our long-term planning goals,” said Mayor Kevin Corcoran. “Together we were able to deliver an improvement that benefits the entire community.”

Installed at the intersection of Mills Industrial Parkway and Mills Road, the sign has received positive feedback from area employees, residents, businesses and visitors for improving wayfinding and reinforcing a professional image for the industrial park.

The concept of replacing the former sign was first raised by Rudolph Libbe Group as the city was developing its branded gateway, park and city facility signage program. While the timing and design did not initially coincide, the opportunity resurfaced in 2025 when the city began replacing exterior signage at City Hall to reflect departmental relocations and organizational changes.

“We’re excited that we could partner with the city to increase the visibility and enhance the entrance of the industrial park,” said Rudolph Libbe Group Regional Vice President Dave Boyer. “We look forward to working with our partners in local government whenever we can make a difference in the community.”

The improvement aligns with the city’s master plan, which emphasizes collaboration with property owners to enhance the appearance and function of industrial districts. Strategic investments in signage, streetscape elements and other infrastructure improvements help create a positive impression of North Ridgeville as a place to invest and do business.

City officials expressed appreciation for Rudolph Libbe Group’s contribution and continued partnership, noting that projects like this reflect a shared commitment to thoughtful growth, economic vitality and community pride.
