BIG NEWS for our High School Band Department!
THREE of our high school bands participated in the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Large Group Contest and we are thrilled to share that ALL THREE bands earned the highest rating: SUPERIOR! Even more exciting, all three now qualify for the State level! The State Competition will take place in April. Way to go, Rangers!

We’re also proud to share that our 8th Grade Choir received a Superior Rating at the Junior High level. Outstanding work by our talented students and dedicated directors. Best Attendance
A big congratulations to a group of K-2 students at Liberty Elementary! These classes earned a special surprise for having the best attendance in the building. Way to show up every day! The Cleveland Browns Stay In The Game program visited with Chomps and the Lorax to celebrate National Reading Month. There were stories, swag, and so many smiles! We’re so proud of our students for making attendance a priority!
SWC Champs!
Congrats to our SWC Champs! The 7th Grade Boys Gold Basketball Team defeated Grafton last night 56-27 to take home the title! And finished up their undefeated season, 17-0!
The Amazing Shake
Round One of The Amazing Shake is officially in the books! Our 7th grade students have been sharpening their social skills all year in preparation for this exciting competition. From Dining Drive to Appointment Alley and Interview Lane, students rotated through real-world scenarios designed to build confidence, communication skills, eye contact, and the ability to speak up with professionalism. We are so proud of their hard work and growth! Congratulations to the Top 64 students who have advanced to Round Two, which will take place in March. The competition continues!
STATE BOUND!
Congratulations to Senior Gianna Sanfilippo for an incredible performance at the District Tournament, finishing in 2nd place! With this outstanding performance, she qualified for the State Tournament, which will be March 13-15! Good luck, Gianna!
Unified Basketball
Last month, the North Ridgeville Unified Basketball team hit the court at a tournament in Rocky River! Our amazing Sparkle Cheer team was there to support our athletes, pump up the crowd, and spread the spirit every step of the way. From teamwork on the court to cheers in the stands, it was a great day for everyone involved!
