North Ridgeville Art Students Paint Mural at Local Business

A team of talented art students from North Ridgeville High School recently brought creativity and community spirit to the forefront by designing and painting a captivating mural inside the new Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar on Center Ridge Road. The mural is a visual tribute to North Ridgeville, featuring iconic local landmarks such as the city’s water tower, the historic Olde Towne Theatre, and the beloved Ranger mascot.

Under the guidance of art teacher Dana Frieg, these students collaborated to turn their vision of hometown pride into a vibrant piece of public art. Their dedication to the project reflects the heart and soul of the community they call home.

“This mural represents so much more than just paint on a wall—it’s a love letter to our city,” shared Frieg. “These kids are incredibly talented, and their hard work and passion for expressing their love for North Ridgeville through art is inspiring. Projects like this are why I do what I do. We’re so thankful for the opportunity to contribute to the beauty of our community.”

Kathy Winkel, owner of Wink Royalton, who owns the building housing the new Pulp location, is inviting the public to a Community Mural Unveiling Event on Tuesday, January 21, at 6 PM. The event will feature appearances by the student artists, free samples from Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar, and Modern Massage and Spa.

“We’re thrilled to showcase this incredible work of art,” said Winkel. “This mural brings together the essence of North Ridgeville—its past, present, and future. It’s a true reflection of community pride.”

The community is encouraged to attend the unveiling event to celebrate the creativity and dedication of these Ranger Strong students who have left an indelible mark on the city in more ways than one.
