Annual Fall Fest: Fun for the Whole Family
Join us for an evening of family fun at the Annual Fall Fest at South Central Park on October 11 from 4 – 6 pm! Celebrate the season with a lively mix of exciting games, colorful face painting, amazing balloon twisters, and giant bounce houses that will keep the kids laughing. Enjoy the crisp autumn air with wagon rides, and take in the festive atmosphere filled with music, food, and fall-themed activities for all ages. Whether you’re looking to make memories with your kids, spend time with friends, or simply soak in the spirit of fall, the Annual Fall Fest has something for everyone. Don’t miss out on this free, fun-filled, family-friendly event!
Fall Fests at LCCC Learning Centers
Bring the whole family to Lorain County Community College learning centers for Fall Fest events. These free events are open to the public and include food, children’s activities, music and more.
Fall Fests will be held: Wednesday, September 17, 4-7 p.m. – LCCC Wellington Center, 151 Commerce Drive, Wellington • Wednesday, October 8, 4-7 p.m. – LCCC Lorain Learning Center at City Center, 201 West Erie Ave., Lorain • Wednesday, October 15, 4-7 p.m. – LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville
Registration is encouraged but not required at www.lorainccc.edu/fallfest.
Holiday Food & Toy Drive
Non-perishable food items and new toys in original packaging are needed to help benefit North Ridgeville Community Care for the holidays. Drop off boxes will be located at City Hall, Parks & Recreation, and Senior Center. Items can be dropped off October 31-November 26, Monday-Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm. We appreciate your donations and thank you for making the holidays brighter for families in need.
12th Annual CLE Stache Dash 5K/1 Mile Fun Run-Walk
Join us for the Cleveland Stache Dash, Northeast Ohio’s premier celebration of facial hair and fitness! Whether you’re rocking a full handlebar, a classic chevron, or a stick-on special, this 1 Mile / 5K event is your chance to let your ‘stache shine. This family-friendly fun run is the perfect excuse to skip shaving and get moving, all while supporting a great cause—proceeds benefit North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation.
The first 300 pre-registered participants will receive a race bag. Post-race refreshments will be provided. Costumes and creative mustaches are highly encouraged. Online registration closes Monday, October 27. We can’t wait to see you—and your legendary lip sweater— on Saturday, November 1 at 8:45 am!
