I hope the holidays brought you time to relax and reconnect. As we welcome 2026, I feel encouraged by the progress we made over the past year and energized by what lies ahead.
In 2025, we continued building on the community vision shaped through the Ridgeville Ready Master Plan. Key infrastructure improvements advanced, local businesses continued to invest in North Ridgeville and our partnerships with civic groups and regional organizations helped strengthen programs that benefit families across the city. These efforts support a strong foundation for continued growth.
Looking forward, work will continue on major capital projects, including the SR 83 and Chestnut Ridge Road roundabout and the Cypress Avenue extension. These improvements will enhance safety, support economic development and help keep our city moving forward. Also our Parks and Recreation and Senior Center teams will continue to create opportunities for neighbors of all ages.
North Ridgeville is one of only two America 250-OH communities in Lorain County and January marks the official launch of the programs that will carry us through this milestone year. Throughout 2026, we will team up with community partners to celebrate our history, highlight the progress shaping our city and invite residents to take part in a variety of activities.
Thank you for your continued engagement and commitment to making North Ridgeville a welcoming community. I wish you a healthy, hopeful start to the new year and look forward to all we will accomplish together in 2026.
Best wishes, Mayor Kevin Corcoran
