North Ridgeville Schools Ranger Round-Up

Celebrating Black History Month

NRAC Associate Principal Andrea Vance welcomed members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to our school to engage with students through book readings and thoughtful discussions.

Students gained meaningful insight into Black history and culture while enjoying an interactive and enriching experience. We’re grateful for our guests and the opportunity to learn together!

Signing Day

February 4 was Signing Day, and our very own Rangers are moving on to play college football! We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our football program.

Congratulations to: Christian Ensley (Football) – signing to Saginaw Valley State University • Cole Miller (Football) – signing to Kent State University • Finley Keller (Football) – signing to Robert Morris University. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger!

Spotlighting Local Businesses

In February, our NRHS Broadcast Journalism class is proud to celebrate AMERICA 250 by spotlighting four local businesses that embody this month’s theme: Ohio Works: Innovation & Industry

Each week, we’ll feature one video showcasing how these businesses are shaping our community through creativity, hard work, and innovation.

Follow along and visit our AMERICA 250 page on our website to learn more!

Kindergarten Registration

If your child will be entering Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, please plan to attend the March into Kindergarten event on February 23 at 5:00 p.m. At this event, you’ll hear from the Principal, Mrs. Pinzone, about the enrollment process, curriculum, nursing services and more. Kindergarten enrollment will open on Monday, March 2 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Governor DeWine recently signed House Bill 114, which updates the age requirements for students entering Kindergarten across the state of Ohio. Under House Bill 114, students must be five years old on or before the first day of school to be eligible for Kindergarten. The cutoff date is August 20 for the 2026-2027 school year.
