Ladies’ Brunch

February 19, 10:30 a.m. – If you are 55 or older, join us for a hot entrée, coffee, fruit cup and juice for $4. Brunch includes a speaker or entertainment. Entertainment: How to Get More Out of Watching Movies – This presentation will help us take a closer look at the movies we see in terms of the techniques that are involved in making them. We will view and discuss clips that show examples of how each technique contributes to the overall impact of a film.

Outing: Asia Town Shopping & Lunch

February 20, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Our visit coincides with Chinese New Year. Art displays and exhibits will be on view at the plaza. We will venture to the Park & Shop where Asian specialty groceries can be purchased. Lunch at Li Wah’s. Registration begins January 21 at 1:00 p.m. 13 spots available. Cost $5. Depart from the Senior Center

Try It Tuesday

February 24, 12 p.m. – This program offers a fun way to explore different cultures through food or different food preferences/diets (vegan, dairy-free, low-carb, Mediterranean, etc.) Italy is the featured country for February and will feature Italian dishes. Attend this program to learn more and sample some foods you’ve never eaten! Register by the previous Friday.

Lunch & Learn

February 27, 12 p.m. – Lunch & Learn: How Archwell Health Supports Healthy Aging and Community Connection. Join us for an informative Lunch & Learn with Archwell Health! Discover how our senior-focused primary care model promotes healthy aging, personalized care and community connection. Learn about wellness programs and resources designed to help you live your best life. Register by February 23.

Senior Center Foot Care

April 1, 8 a.m. – Appointments are first come first served by the sign-in sheet at the front desk. If it is your first visit with the doctor, contact Dr. Emmert’s Office at (216) 529-1800 before your appointment to verify they have the necessary information.

Dyngus Day Celebration

April 6, 12 p.m. – Senior Center

Chicken Paprikash Dinner

April 24, 5 – 7 p.m. – Join us for this community event that raises money for programs at the center. Adults $8, Seniors $7, Children 10 and under $5. Soda and dessert are available for $1 each. Dine-in or carry out is available.
