North Ridgeville High School hosted its annual Future Fair on Thursday, February 15.

This event, tailored for students in grades 8-12, provides a comprehensive exploration of post-graduation opportunities.

The Future Fair is not just an ordinary event; it is a gateway for students to embark on their journey into the professional world. Local businesses, agencies, and branches of the armed forces all converged, offering an invaluable glimpse into the myriad possibilities awaiting these young minds. Students were prepared to attend the Future Fair by spending time familiarizing themselves with the exhibitors and developing a plan of action for their time at the Fair. History and English departments assisted students in this preparation.

The Future Fair revolves around the core principles of the 4 Es: Entrepreneurship, Employment, Enlistment, and Enrollment. By focusing on these key areas, the aim is to empower students with a holistic understanding of the diverse pathways available after graduation.

Lee Armbruster, the visionary behind this impactful event and the Director of Community Partnerships, says, “We have over 90 exhibitors registered for the Future Fair. To name a few, manufacturing, building trades, landscape design, retail to finance, health care, government, county agencies, higher education institutions and the military. Vendors have been asked to engage students in interactive exhibits so students can truly see the opportunities available to them for their future. This event is focused on the high demand careers for our students.”
