North Ridgeville Heart & Sole collaborative is hosting its second annual food drive at two indoor walking locations from Nov. 4 to Nov. 21. All food will be donated to North Ridgeville Community Care, the community’s emergency pantry. Bring non-perishable food items to indoor walking. Soup, canned fruit, canned beans, pasta, sauce, peanut butter and jelly is kindly requested.
Enter the building’s main doors and sign in at the indoor walking table. A box for donations will be located near the main door.
LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5 – 7 p.m. (No walking Nov. 11)
Liberty Elementary School, 5700 Jaycox Road, North Ridgeville: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 – 8 p.m.
Heart & Sole is a community-based group powered by the United Way of Greater Lorain County and facilitated by Lorain County Public Health. The collaborative includes partners from local businesses, agencies and organizations working to improve physical, social, and mental wellbeing of those who live, work, and visit the community.
