The North Ridgeville Drama Club production of Seussical, a vibrant and imaginative stage show that brings to life the beloved characters and stories of Dr. Seuss. Performances had their final showings last weekend at the North Ridgeville Academic Center April 10-12 and April 17-19.

Seussical weaves together some of Dr. Seuss’s most famous tales, including Horton the Elephant’s journey to protect the tiny Whos, the mischievous Cat in the Hat’s antics, and the heartfelt story of friendship, loyalty, and courage. Audiences will be transported into a colorful world filled with music, humor, and meaningful lessons about the power of imagination.

“This production has been an incredible opportunity for our students to showcase their talent, creativity, and dedication,” said Colleen Ricci, director of the North Ridgeville Drama Club. “Seussical is a show that resonates with audiences of all ages, and we’re excited to bring this magical story to our community.”

Adding an extra layer of excitement, each performance featured a special surprise: the role of the Grinch was played by a different faculty or staff member each night, giving audiences a unique experience at every show.

The rest of the cast and crew, made up entirely of North Ridgeville students, have spent months preparing an engaging performance featuring lively musical numbers, dynamic choreography, and eye-catching sets, props, and costumes. The production highlights the hard work and passion of students both on stage and behind the scenes.

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew!
